Types of files?
 

Hi I usually don't have problems with Limewire. I have many completed downloads that are videos, audio etc and most of them are under a windows media player file (the small icon to the left of the download - windows media player) I recently done something without knowing that I did it, and now all my audio and video files (previously windows media player files) are zipped programs (the small icon to the left is a small yellow folder with a grey vertical line down it) and none of the files work anymore?

How can I change it back to having Windows media player files for my audio and video files?

That's caused by a virus.

Try scanning your computer with AVG free. Be sure to update it before you scan.

The zip files contain viruses, your old files were deleted. You might be able to get your them back using a file recovery program. File recovery advice
