corrupted files
 

Downloaded files are fine and playable until computer is shut off. Afterwards all files are converted to application files with the same value of 480 kb. Swept for malware and virus', reinstalled everything. Any ideas? I am outta ideas.

Download AVG antivirus (it's free). It's the one we recommend for the virus that you seem to have caught. Many other antivirus programs are missing it.
