how come when i do a search it will show multiple hosts and when i download it never downloads up to that number in the search?

The maximum number of hosts that Limewire allows you to download from is 10 (up to 14 if you have a T1 or T3 connection). If you are getting less than 10 and the search shows more than 10, try right-clicking on the file in your download window and search for more results.
