i started limewire today and it says it was unable to load the downloads. like the partly downloaded files and others that i had added to download but havent finished. all i had done is pluged in another hard drive to my computer, (oh and i have the setup to install windows on c:/ using the windows xp disc i acidently let it start to install windows then i canceled just after it copied files over to start the installation, so im not sure if that effects limewire either) and then the next time i started limewire it did that. is there anyway to get the list back with the parts of the files already downloaded?

Check the incomplete files folder in your library. If they're listed there try resuming them by right clicking them and choose to resume the download. If that fails try searching your hdd for them. If still no joy you could try running a file recovery program, or resign yourself to the fact that you'll just have to start over from scratch.
