nothing there. help?

hi, have been using limewire for ages, no problems but now i can connect although when i search for anything nothing happens. it's not searching. downloaded itunes a couple of days ago, might this be anything to do with it? tried to delete limewire (to reinstall it) but computer won't let me says "access denied"
