No search screen
 

Hello,

I have downloaded LimeWire today, finally. But, there seems to be a problem: I don't get a search screen. It just isn't there.
http://img108.**************/my.php?image=lwprobleemnr1.jpg is a screenshot (for some reason the link gets censored, I'm obviously not familiar with some of the forum's policies, but you know which website in the '.us'-domain it is.
It's all in Dutch, but I hope you'll recognize everything ;)
When I enter a name in the 'artist' box and I click 'search', the name just disappears from the text box and nothing happens.

Does anyone know what I can do? I've tried reïnstalling, I downloaded the latest version of Java,...

Sorry yes ... one of the USA sites for hosting images has been censored due to abuse by spammers. There's plenty of others around. ;) :)

Try changing compatibility of LW. Also try deleting your prefs folder. Instructions here Fixes for Limewire

Well, deleting my preference folder was a very basic thing to do, but it seems to have worked.
