download issues
 

All the songs i download ... well its keeps repeating the same 10 seconds of the song over and over again. I cant dowload a complete song. Please help

Try using a different player, like itunes....If it works you can set it as your default player by...
Going to your shared folder (outside of Limewire) you will find this folder by clicking on one of your files in your LW library and clicking explore...

Right click on one of your MP3 files
Select open with
Select choose program
select itunes
and tick the box that says always use this program to open this file type
Select OK

If you are currently using the limewire player....
To disable LW player go to Tools > Options > Player and untick the box and select apply...

If none of the above tips work can you tell me are you at home or at work ??
What Security are you using to protect your computer ??

OK, tried these ... none of them worked. The songs are still looping. I am at work and the security system is ETrust. Hope this helps.

You info does help because it is your workplace's security systems that are causing you the problem.

The problem is, if you get caught trying to circumvent the security systems in order to use LW you could get yourself into serious trouble.

It's your security that is doing this to the songs and getting past your security isn't something I can help you with sorry...

hi, i'm lucie. only been using limewire for a few days now. managed to download a movie in mpg type, its playing on my media player but will not copy to dvd and i can't transfer it to different files on my computer. don't know what to do next? can someone also tell me how to start my own thread, i'm not great with this type of thing. cheers.
