It might not be, if it was just introduced to the network. You can preview the file after it hits 10%, but you might be wasting your time.
But, if a file has a lot of hosts, and you can't get it to download...it's definitely a fake file.
I've downloaded a lot of files without checking Bitzi first. I have a high speed connection and can download ten movies at a time...it's not that big of a deal if I download a fake file. I know that they're all over the network and I'm not surprised. You shouldn't be, either.
