ALL search results not showing

In the last 2 days when searching on Limewire Pro for audio artists and/or music titles, the search starts to list the results but then suddenly 'hides' or wont display the full search results. For example, today when I searched for an artist as common as 'The Beatles' the results would only display 12/1695. Prior to this problem, the complete 1695 results would usually be listed.

My operating system is Windows XP; I have at least 15GB hard disc space available; 512 RAM and am connected to the internet by broadband. While I have firewalls in operation, disconnecting them (temporarily for a test) has not resolved the problem. My Limewire version is Limewire Pro 4.12.6.

HELP ! :bangh:

They may be getting marked as junk. Try going to Tools>Options>Filters>Junk, and put a tick by one of the "Display Junk" options, then click apply.

Also make sure you have "All" selected in the columns to the left of your search results.

Thanks 6pac, I'll give your suggestions a try. If it works - you're a legend. If it doesn't - I'll get back to you.

To 6pac & others who may have been experiencing the same problem as me:
I tried 6pac's suggestion and it worked to a certain degree. However, I found it worked much better by going to TOOLS > OPTIONS > FILTERS > JUNK but instead of ticking the DISPLAY JUNK option, I clicked the RESTORE DEFAULTS option > APPLY. That, so far, has brought my search results back to the way it used to be.

NB: you may have to restart your computer before the default is applied. Also, you may wish to go through the other various OPTIONS fields to re-configure how Limewire downloads, uploads, views & searches etc for your particular requirements (because they also have probably reverted back to the DEFAULT setting).

Regards,
Mickster
