Red face Loading movies on a dvd using Nero StartSmart

Can anyone tell me how to load movies on a dvd using Nero StartSmart. I'm really desperate and anyone that would do it would be my life saviour. The thing is when I download movies the computer becomes slow so when I try loading it on the cd it says that it isn't the correct disk format even though it is DVD+R and it should work.

I looked at it and it said that it is only for Nero Premium. Does this mean that I should download Nero Premium?

Just to add a little, from Nero StartSmart click on Nero Vision and if your dvd burner is an external unit you need to have it turned on or Nero won't display the options for burning a dvd.

When your burning a dvd, especially while the file is being converted, it's best not to be doing anythig else with your computer. I usually burn mine overnight. You can set it to shut down your computer when it's finished.

When you start up StartSmart you will see (on the left) Applications, extend the menu and select NeroVision...

You don't say what version Nero you have . I had an OEM version that came with my Sony Burner and I thought it was Junk. You could always try something that is a lot cheaper and easier to use. I use AVS Video Tools, Video Converter, Audio Tools, Video Editor, DVD Player, DVD Copy, TV Box.. Its really easy to use and its only about 30.0****. Also converting video files is a long process. I have a 2.53GHz CPU 1.2GB Ram 22GBs free on C drive 222GBs free on ext hd. Takes about 4 hours to dn/ld, convert, & burn. Be Patient. Hope this helps
