Hey Mark you might try updating your Java. See here. Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11. I have also read that some people think Comcast is throddling P2P where others don't. You might research this a little further. Do you notice a difference in speed at different times of the day or night? If so that might be your problem. |
Mark also have a look at this thread. The new Microsoft security update. http://www.gnutellaforums.com/downlo...d-0-3kb-s.html |
I viewed the link the only thing i really got from it was that i needed to disable the UPnp and set up my firewall for a manual port which i did all that, and tryed using different versions of java. I can't really give an update as to the progress bc i'm only currently downloading one file and its still slow as dirt only dl'ing from like 2 people an they both maybe dialup users so its anyones guess but i'm happy to hear any fresh opinion |
i guess my dl speeds are somewhat normal i did have it up over 20kbs which is still slow as poop but i just have to keep reminding myself that i can only dl as fast as others can upload....... |
