Having problems searching... no songs come up

All,
I am having a major problem... after the upgrade.. I even paid this time for the PRO... But when I search I am getting no results back. and above the Search result window I have a message that says:
" Only Search Result with a (Lock picture) are official LIme Wire LLC Communications. "

What are the problems?

That padlock notice you see at the top of your searches is to notify you of a particular search result that contains a virus...
It's a 75.7 KB .exe & shows up as "Urgent LW update - download & install now". If people download that thing they could end up infected. To try to prevent careless people from downloading a dangerous file, the warning banner was added to LW's interface.

The padlock symbol doesn't apply to music or video etc, only to LW updates...

How do I fix the searching Issue?

I am not getting anything that returns back on any searches?

Check and see if you have the lisence warning ticked...
Go to Tools > options > Searcing > Lisence Warning and make sure the box is not ticked and select apply...

If that does not help try this...
Go to your connections Tab in limewire, if it's not showing up go to Veiw > Show/Hide and make sure the connection tab has a tick next to it...
Then click on the Hosts and remove them and let Limewire search for some more...

Today i am on a different network (in a hotel) but when I was home yesterday it was working fine... does it have anything to do with my network connections

Ahhh Yes it would...They more than likely block any p2p usage, so it doesn't use up all their bandwidth....
Wait till your back at home, it should be all good then...;)

I have Windows XP SP2 and I been trying to download but nothing happens. Wednesday was all working fine. Yet I see a brick in front of a wall but checked in my control panel about firewalls and is working enabling LimeWire and I been getting a message that says that I'm not connected to the internet or I have a firewall. But I have done nothing to my computer and wednesday everything was working fine.By the way myversion of Norton Antivirus does not have firewalls.
