Music downloads w/glitches

Inquiring minds would like to know...why do I keep getting deadspaces or a glitches in my music downloads? Are the sources fubbed ducked?

Remoc July 22nd, 2007 05:48 PM

Hey Junkie, are you using the Limewire player when you here these glitches?? If so try a different media player. LW player is not very good.

You might take a look here.VLC media player - Overview.

If you are using another player, it might need a codec's Pack. What player are you using ?? :D

Thanx Remoc for your sound advise...I do appreciate it...the center of the problem are 2 audio files/songs that seem to ALWAYS go dead near the end... zip, zero, na'da'...I'm thinking, is it real the files? But why are there so many hits on them??? Generally I scan the files & jus' go directly to my Windows Media to listen...for the most part thingz are OKAY...

Hi Junkie.

Remoc is giving you good advice.

Try downloading & using the VLC media player (Its Free) & recommended by us here
at the limewire forums. VLC player has most all of the codec's built into the player &
plays above average quality for music & excellent quality for video files, (It plays most everything)

If you wish, VLC player can be set as the default player for your computer, to do this
In Limewire Library, highlight a file mp3, avi or whatever you wish then click on
explore, in the bottom left corner.
This will take you to the shared folder outside of Limewire, right click on a file,
choose, open with, highlight VLC player, then tick the box to always use this program
to open this type of file. Repeat this action to include all the file types you wish VLC
to be the default player.
