Limewire deleted almost all of my files

I clicked limewire and when it was done getting settled, I clicked on the internet. I was still looking at the limewire box and i noticed that almost all of my files were deleted except 15. I didn't touch anything. It still says I have 162 files but I don't know where they are. Some files are also red, and they don't have the same name anymore.

ADVICE?

This has happened before, and it's really annoying. I don't want Limewire anymore if its going to keep doing this.

Just check and see if the files are in your incomplete folder in your limewire library...If they are you can click on them and resume them from there...

You will be able to find your shared folder if you click on one of your files in you limewire library and click explore, a window should open with all of your files from limewire in it...

When a file is red it means that you are not currently sharing that file if you right click on it you can then choose to share it again...

With the file name changing itself, that may mean you have a virus or something similar...
Try doing a full system scan with your Anti-Virus scanner and also one with your Anti-Spyware scanners...

If you don't have any, here is a list of freebies...;)
Anti-virus:

avast!

AVG free

Avira Antivir

Antispyware etc:

ad-ware __(FREE)

Spybot - Search & Destroy __(FREE)

AVG Antispyware (formerly Ewido)

You may also be having this problem with your limewire and browsing the web because of your Java version...
Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
