![]() First time posting. Just installed Limewire 4.12.15 Pro. My question deals with the wild fluxuations I see in my download speeds. I'm limiting downloads to 5. When I first connect I get very fast speeds, sometimes 1-1.5 mb per second combined. Then it will drop dramatically to 300 kbps and stay there for a while. Every so often it will jump back up to 1 mb per second but not for very long. Why does this happen? I understand that my downloads will only be as fast as the sources but the ups and downs have a very regulated look to them. Thanks for any help. |

![]() Interesting that my isp might have something to do with it. I don't think that is the case with me. How could they possibly be monitoring my download speed and then when it gets too high regulate it. I sure hope this isn't the case as I pay quite a bit for my cable service. |
