Downloading Problems
 

Every time I click on a download, It shows its going to downloads but nothing ever downloads. It then says Need More Sources.

It also Happens In Shareaza (reason I re-downloaded Limewire) but instead of need more sources, It just sits here.

Also do you get full green bars when connected to limewire...

I have the 4.14.3 and I installes it correctly ... i shared 10 GB of music and when I want to download somethingm it find it but when I click on the file or I choose Download or Download as... nothing happens... I can;t see if it's downloading it or not because the download toolbar is empty. Now a week it worked correctly and it was ok... and now I installed windows again ( the same ) and i can't download... why? :confused::confused::confused:

Try these fixes...In this order...


Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11


Then uninstall Limewire using the uninstaller which is found in start > all programs > limewire...then re-install it using the offline installer...To find the offline installer, use the link below > cancel the installer window when it pop's up and then select the offline installer link...

If that does not help with your problem try deleting your preference folder/s...
Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should

Still no luck try these....

Check and see if you have the lisence warning ticked...
Go to Tools > options > Searcing > Lisence Warning and make sure the box is not ticked and select apply...

If that does not help try this...
Go to your connections Tab in limewire, if it's not showing up go to Veiw > Show/Hide and make sure the connection tab has a tick next to it...
Then click on the Hosts and remove them and let Limewire search for some more...
