cant open limewire
 

Hi all
need some help guys, my Limewire 4.8.1 an old version has been working great until I done something to screw it up.I was using my anti spyware to clean cookies etc and I think I removed cookies or some other thing and now I can,t open it up.
I have tried removing and downloading another version 4.14.3 still cant get it to open.
need your expertise.

Try these fixes...
Try deleting your preference folder/s...
Fixes for Limewire when LW isn't operating as it should

Try uninstalling all versions of Java from the add/remove programs and then re-install the JRE 5.11 offline version....
Archive: Download Java 2 Platform Standard Edition (J2SE) 5.0 Update 11
