I tried the uninstall/reinstall plan a couple of times and once using an older version and I had the same problems. So, I am back to the newest version and no downloads. Thank you for your help, Otterman038. More ideas?

Just for the record, my problem sounds very simular - so there is a apparently a bunch of us.
