I can search, but downloads stay at "Need more sources" forever!
 

I can search for files just fine and was able to download until the other day. Every time I add a file to my download list, it is always looking for more sources. This applies to videos and audio, large and small files. I have tried downloading almost anything just to see if it will begin. Help!

Try this...
Go to your Connections Tab in limewire, if it's not showing up go to Veiw > Show/Hide and make sure the connection tab has a tick next to it...
Then click on the Hosts and remove them and let Limewire search for some more...
(try to take note of the hosts IP numbers if the same ones keep re-appearing add them to your host filter...) ;)

Tools > Options > Filters and select the Host Filter and add these IP's into it and select apply...

i can search but when i click some file to be downloaded! they doesnt come under downloading , i m unable to download!!!!!!!!1

Check and see if you have the lisence warning ticked...
Go to Tools > options > Searcing > Lisence Warning and make sure the box is not ticked and select apply...

Personally I heard that limewire had made a deal with the MPAA to restrict certian types of files from being shared.(found out this was bogus, later) But I am wondering if limewire has done a few things to the program and not told anyone about it. I can download some file types and keywords but others are compleatly blocked. I know it's not my isp we just changed our isp to a different one because the last one (time warner) decided to start policeing the internet without telling anyone...And I don't recomend them to none of my friends now. Actually I steer them way from them..
But I do have the same problem pre se, somethings I can download and others I can't...
It's the end of the file sharing days by the looks of it, every program I've tried in the last month is ether blocked or throttled to where it's not even usuable anymore.
Hey Limewire get a clue people are going to stop using your program if it don't work!!

Thanks for the tip about my connections. I can see how to add users manually, but I don't have any to add. Do you have any users that you recommend? I think Wolf 421 and I may have the same problems.
