Can Only Download Songs I've Already Downloaded

I've been using Limewire for awhile but yesterday it started acting up. So I downloaded the latest verison and still no difference. I checked ports and the firewall and its all config correctly. It seems I can only download songs I've downloaded previously? Any ideas. I noticed in one of the other threads to go to the connections tab and have it search for new connections. Tried that several times but no difference. I hope someone knows something that may help. thanks.

What happens when you try to d/load a new file? Does it go to your d/load window? Does it sit there, never connecting and go to need more sources???

Says 'connecting', then 'tried to connect X number of times' and then 'need more sources.' Which at that point I click find more sources and same thing happens. The file has plenty of sources too.
