Firewall Problem

Hello,

I am trying to use limewire at school (on campus at college) so naturally its blocked. I am now using a proxy and able to connect but I still can't make the downloads. Since I don't have access to the router settings I cannot open ports myself. I have done the bug report thing to check t/f and it is indeed false. I have however been able to download a *few* files.. just not the majority that I was able to previously.

I usually get the "connecting(tried X# hosts)..." If I can think of any other info i'll post it up.. any help would be appreciated.

EDIT: just found out... if I wait a while on some of the DLs with the "connecting (tried hosts)" thing it will start to DL eventually but usually very slow and will also usually cut off after a few seconds... so I DO get a connection just... not perma.
