Progress shows bar inaccurate download percentage?

Hi all,

I am downloading a large file and the progress bar on LimeWire shows as just 5% complete when it is actually nearly finished and I would expect it to show 99%, any ideas why this is?

Also, having downloaded almost all the file, it doesn't seem to want to download the last 1GB or so and has been on the same amount for three days now!

P.S. I read somewhere that to finish a download another client was used, surely I wouldn't need to do that?
