I would like to be able to share songs through the limewire program, but I need ideas on how to upload them onto my p.c first. Can anyone please give any suggestions as I am new to this and don't know which is the best to use.
I have a Mini disc player connected to my p.c via an optical lead, but am unable to transfer the songs onto my p.c? I thought I might be able to use Limewire itself but if this is the case It does not want to give me any ideas on how to do this....PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!

if you have a cd drive to play the cd, or a tape deck hooked up to your pc, you can use software like music match jukebox (which is available for free download) to transfer or record the music into mp3 or .wav format. make sure the rec. source is configured properly under options. if you are trying to record from a phonograph or tape deck, you'll need an adapter that goes from rca to 1/8 " mini plug.
