help and staff support (how to share file with friend)

need to be able to reach limewire with free/pro version not just pro support... I would like to share file with friend but I get bogged down by people with faster connection than my friend any help from anybody is a preciated now..

You could try Direct Connect. See Link below. It's old but will give the info that you need.

You can try the direct connect facility, you will need your friends current IP address.

Just take a look at my screen print.

PS. When I took this screen print my LW was not connected yet and behind my NAT firewall, hence the "firewall" message.
