I have my upload bandwidth set so I give about 5KB/s per upload slot. So having two slots open sounds about right. If you make it too high, you'll have a lot of people queued but the uploads will be too slow.
Not sure what to do about bearshare lite. I imagine they are sharing files too. So blocking their ip addresses might not be a good idea. | >>>>>>>>>i have the same problem as caseyboo- except for one small and OUTRAGEOUSLY CATASTROPHIC PROBLEM-- my files are my songs- they have NEVER been released and sucessfully uploaded by ANYONE EVER-- so is there other options ?? i pray to god its not what i fear- although i like the fact that ppl can get my stuff- if i dont have a control over the start process- that scares me- where are they getting my songs from ????
