problems downloading music - A yellow bar at the top is blocking me ! Help ?
 

I have this yellow bar at the top which is blocking me from downloading music.. how can i fix it??

Does it have any sort of symbol in or beside it ? . If you havent already , try hovering the cursor arrow over it for a sec or two and see if anything comes up . If so , come back and let us know . I haven't seen anything like that before , so maybe my suggestion might help . Sorry in advance if it doesnt.

Its a tellow bar across the top pops up when i type in a song to download. theres a key symbol there as well and a tellow traingle with ! there

The orange warning banner with the padlock was added because there's a bogus LW update showing up in search results. It's a 75.7 KB .exe & shows up as "Urgent LimeWire update - download & install now". If people download that thing they could end up infected. To try to prevent people from downloading a dangerous file, the warning banner was added to LW's interface.

The padlock symbol doesn't apply to music, movies etc...just to LW updates;)

What happens when you try to download...do files move into the download pane & get stuck needing sources, or do they not move into the download pane at all??
