Angry .sit files no good in new version of Limewire?

I recently updated my limewire from 1.7 and the new version doesn't download recognizable program files (sit). They showed up as a sit icon in my folder under the previous version but since getting the new limewire, I have not been able to use one downloaded program file, they show up as a blank paper icon in my shared folder. Does anyone know what's up with this?

Thumbs down Drag to Stuffit?

Drag the file manually into Stuffit Expander? For every file? We didn't have to do this before. Why did you build LESS utility into this new version?

Exclamation Stuffit Expander Doesn't Work

I spent some time today dragging these "blank page" files into Stuffit, but nothing happened. I dropped the files onto the Stuffit Icon which highlighted momentarily, there was a little bar graph showing the progress of something (presumably decompression) but no unstuffed file appeared anywhere at all. I've tried expanding files from within Stuffit and have looked into every tributary of the menu logic tree, but there seems to be nothing there that will accomplish this in any way at all. Please let me know if I've missed something.
