Limewire Slows to Zero kB/s
 

Hi All,

So loving the Torrent aspect to Limewire and using it a lot.

Here's problem.
Often if I've left Limewire open for a long time, (a day or so)
It will not be responding. okBs up and okbs down.

Then sometimes when I try to quit. It say Limewire is preparing to quit (or something like that)....and it just get stuck there......requiring a force quit.

Then a Limewire reopening, settle it fine and ok.
Sometime the mac needs to be restarted.

But today, I've noticed that Limewire will open up and get connections.
I've got 1,312 connections. and no Brick image....but o up and 0 downloading happening.

If I quit and reopen, it seems to work and be blazing along, but never seems to get more that 5minutes and everything just goes down to "0"
(from sometimes 400+kB/s of downloading)....so it's not that it's not making connections and getting thru, it's just that those connections seem to drop out to nothing.

Sometimes when I quit the above state....two different things may happen:
1) it will quit fine, I can then reopen
2) it will need to be force quit, I can then reopen

any ideas?

Mac iMac 17" intel 2.? ghz
OSX 10.4.10
limewire 10.14.8 pro
