Default Files not showing up! Help

I have downloaded a bunch of songs and they aren't showing up in the folder they are showing themselves listened under in limewire. Limewire is also showing up on itunes but the songs won't but the songs are playing fine in limewire so I know they exist.

I also did I search on my computer and the files didn't come up as being on my computer. What's goin on?

I'm using Vista which I just updated to and never had a problem on XP with limewire. It's Limewire Pro.

Anyone have a answer not filled with childish stupidity and immaturity?

Grow up dude, that's the issue. Clearly you can't solve the problem so why not just shut up and let someone who can

I suggest you crawl back under that rock where you live in Charleston, North Carolina

Default same problem

I've been working at this type of problem for awhile. When I look in the shared folder, the files aren't there. Even after I switched on hidden files, nothing appears.

If i try to move the files out of the limewire library, I get the error message that the files have been moved, and I have to reconfirm the location. When I do a broad spectrum search on *.mp3 'everywhere' in my computer, the files aren't found.

However, limewire still plays the files, so I made a playlist and tried to play that in itunes. When I did that, I found that all of the files were (remote). Specifically, when I looked up the file info, after the file name it said (remote).

What does this mean, and where might the files be being stored remotely?

Vista, trend micro antivirus, 1983 megs ram, 94 gigs free, wifi connection, LW ver 4.14.12...everything else is clear, test worked, etc, etc, etc. can anyone offer up any suggestions? I'm new to vista, so is there some search or something that I'm missing?
