Default Uploaders get "File Not Found", why?

For ONE particular file....

Uploaders get "File Not Found", why?

I actually know why.... because I deleted this file a few weeks ago from my Shared Directory.

Question: If I deleted a Shared file long ago, why do other user's still find it on searches and attempt to download?

A web-based host cache may contain old info about your shared files or LimeWire needs to update its shared files listing. To do this click Refresh under the Library tab. This is all based on you having actually deleted the file; otherwise this is the freeloader denied message.

Thanks for the reply.

You said: <I>"A web-based host cache may contain old info about your shared files"</I>

Can you tell me more about this? I think that this must be why I keep messages that Uploaders get "File Not Found".

I know about the REFRESH button.... which is really intended for current session shared file listing info. I'm sure that all this is refreshed anyway when we exit and restart LW.

I do not think its "the freeloader denied message" because it's always the ONE particular file... which happens to be a huge *** file... which I deleted when I figured out it was a bogus pre-release.

An example of a web-based host cache is Gnufrog. This site appears to update frequently enough where stale information should not be around for long. There probably are other caches and their update times vary. Also, someone could have started downloading the particular file when it existed, was cut off, and is trying to resume the download but the file now isn't there.
