Over 10 hosts & 0kb/s Speed !! Normal ?

am trying to download but i dnt knw where isthe problem exactly..

sometimesit reaches to 20 hosts connecting but the speed is always Zero !

its the 1st time happening since i've redownloaded the limewire but am an old user !


help me plz >,<

Go to your Connections Tab in limewire, if it's not showing up go to Veiw > Show/Hide and make sure the connection tab has a tick next to it...
Then click on the Hosts and remove them and let Limewire search for some more...
(try to take note of the hosts IP numbers if the same ones keep re-appearing add them to your host filter...)

Tools > Options > Filters and select the Host Filter and add these IP's into it and select apply...

Try installing PeerGuardian, it will help keep the fake hosts out...Remember to enable PG just before you start limewire up...

Another thing if you are using limewire 4.13 and later you can apply this hostile list...This will block known fake IP addresses...

Could be a few reasons for it.
Ultrapeers you are connecting through. (Sometimes best to restart LW, else filter some as Wondering Why suggested)
Your ISP shaping only your p2p LW bandwidth.

Download a magnet link file from this site: + MagnetMix.com +: The Source for Good Content
If it's slow or zero speed, then your LW is most likely being shaped by your internet provider.

BTW if the file in the download window says connecting, it means it is NOT connected. And if you have many that say that, it suggests it is probably a fake file(s); see Beware of Fake files in search results
