uTorrent/Limewire BitTorrent Issues
 

I have uTorrent set as my default torrent downloader. Upon installing LimeWirePro all my torrents are now defaulted into Limewire. I've already unchecked the Start Automatically and the Let Limewire manage my BitTorrent boxes but still it persists. A long time ago I checked the option to for torrents always to use the same process which is "open with uTorrent" so I no longer am asked what I want to do. The torrents are automatically opened. Is there a way to fix this that doesn't require me going back to an older version of LimeWire? Would also be great if the solution didn't involve me saving every torrent either. I will uninstall LimeWire before I have to do that. Thank you for any help, and sorry if there is already a thread on this.

You can change the default torrent handler. Try the advice in this thread:
