Gnutella Forums - lost files, have tried sticky but no go

i am one of the many who have upgraded and are having trouble, i havnt lost my files but anything i have downloaded since upgrading isnt going into my shared folder. i have tried unsuccessfully quite a few times to follow the sticky but is doesnt make any difference. every thing is saving in a file called individually shared files and i have tried to move them but cant. this file doesnt show up when i try and copy them to disc.
everything i downloaded before i upgraded is still there and i am able to copy them but not my new stuff. what am i doing wrong, im starting to get so frustrated now. any advice appreciated. im really new to this business (introduced to it by my daughter) lol
