Application Downloads

Been loving the music downloads via Limewire and have half heartedly tried to download a couple of apps, but have a few questions.

I've read through the forums and have seen that downloading apps through Limewire is not recomended due to the amount of spam/ virus's in most things but music, what i'm wondering is, if i find a torrent link elsewhere how well will it download through LW? or, can you share any good places to either get the links for apps or even another LW style programme to download/ find them through?

Torrent is best for windows. Go to the torrent web page, download their link, then open that with LW.

this may sound like a stupid question but which one? there are hundreds of them out there!

Not sure it's within forum rules at this time to recommend torrent sites sorry. But most should be ok.
Oh just one warning ... some torrent sites do not recognise LW as a valid torrent program.

I would guess that most public torrentsites allow Limewire as a torrentclient, but I would not recommend using Limewire on any private site.
