 Yes, If you choose a higher # it could possibly slow things down a bit. Depends on how much Bandwith you have available. You can play around with it to see what works best for you. The first Setting is to allow a certain amount of files to one person. This will prevent one person from trying to download 50 (just a number) songs at the same time and hog all of the slots. I have mine set to 3.
