Extracting files from zip folder

Hello! I cannot extract files from zip file that I have downloaded using the limewire. I have redownloaded the zip file again and again but still cannot extract or even open the file. This happens with every single zip file that I download, whether I use WinRar or Winzip to extract the files. Could anyone please help me to solve this problem? Thank you.

Rina STOP Posting this problem. This is the third time. Two have been Deleted and if you keep it up, away you go :toilet:.

Do you know Anything about LW?? Have you read Anything on these Forums at all. Have you Searched the Forums for the Issues you are Having?? OF COARSE NOT. How Do I Know, You Ask?? Well, if you would have read Anything about .ZIP and .RAR Files, you would have known that they are the MOST DANGEROUS Files on the Gnutella Network. You would have also known that it is against Forum Rules to post more than once. You would have also known what the consiquences are if Forum Rules are Broken. So Cut it out and do a little research or continue to try and open up thoses .ZIP Files because I'm Sure You will eventually get a Nasty Little Surprise with that Program or Game. :virusalert:

I'm sorry if I have upsetted several people by posting this message.

I have been using LW since 3 years ago. Extraction from zip file works on some other computers but does not work with mine. So I think I do know quite a bit about the problem I am encoutering now.

I do know how to distinguish between the dangerous and safe .ZIP and .RAR Files. I have always been downloading safe one on another computer and I was able to extract the files safely... all of them were not viruses. My problem is that once I have changed my computer, I can no longer do the extraction with my new computer.

By the way, the .ZIP file is a book (scanned ones), not a program or a game.

If you cannot open zip files, what good are they?
