I recently upgraded my limewire account. NOw everytime I try to download a movie I get one of 2 messages, one says I need to visit movie-help.com and the other one refers me to a dom player. Any suggestions?

This is NOT something you got from your recent upgrade.

This is a 'virus'.

DO NOT go to the site.
DO NOT do anything further other than to do your best to remove the rogue application that is now installed on your computer.
This rogue application is what is calling up the movie-help site.

movie-help is complete sh¡t.

Beware !

I do not have any signs of a virus on my computer. I have not tried to go to the site. I am just very frustrated that every movie I try to downlaod it telling me to go to this site. Any suggestions?

How to avoid the DOM Player scam
 

I am amazed that so many of our "peers" keep bogus or mis-named files to share with the rest of us. At least there is a way to avoid much of the garbage.

Before downloading a file that appears in your search window, highlight it and then right-click, scroll down to Advanced, and select 'Lookup File with Bitzi'. You'll be glad you did.

Also, read the Forum about using filters to keep out some of the clutter.

i just downloaded the new version of limewire and every movie i download gives me some kinda message.either movie-help.com or some kinda keypad message. i did the blitzi thing and everyone of them i do it on says its a virus. if this is what limewire is gonna be like im am canceling my subscription.

Dont u think its kinda funny that we are all having the same problem after downloading the new limewire. duh.... it is in the new download genius. i have ran a virus scan twice and i have no virus on my computer. its the piece of junk download limewire released. nothing more nothing less and something needs to be done NOW!!!! About the problem.
