After COUNTLESS attempts I still can't get limewire to work...HELP!!!
 

Please, PLEASE, PLEASE help me!! I am so frustrated that I am about to burst into tears!!!!:confused::confused::confused::confused:

We had limewire working PERFECTLY on our computer...when it decided to CRASH and we lost EVERYTHING!!! I have loaded it and unloaded it and loaded it and unloaded it and gone through EVERY SINGLE trouble shooting tip I can find.

It is loaded and I can put in info for a search and at the top it shows the search....and it IS connected and it does NOT say it is behind a firewall...and when I ran the test ( to see if the test was succesful--it was from one your pages...but am not really sure what it was but it did say it was succesful).....but it does NOT DO ANYTHING...the search remains at 0 and nothing, nothing, nothing happens...no messages or anything...I used to (one of the first times I loaded it after the crash) at least get a message that said something about trying to obtain a better connection or something but now I don't even get that.....

I admit that I did NOT read through all of the threads to see if this has been answered and I truly apologize ...but after spending countless hours on this ONE thing...I just couldn't search any more.....if you can help me I have no problem if you delete this message after. :bangh::bangh::bangh:

Oh yah!!! I am NOT very computer savvy but can USUALLY figure things out pretty good...no computer talk please. Thanks!

it's impossible to lose all Foler when your Limewire don't want star

your all single music or auther Folder are presente in your hard Drive (HDD)


you can find it in : HDD -> "user" -> "nameuser" -> "document" -> "Limewire"

When my computer crashed we had to do a complete restore where we lost ALL hardware and had to start completely over. Soooo...I have NO downloads period and not only that but I CANNOT get limewire to download ANYTHING. It looks like it is going to work...everything is correct at the bottom...it says it's connected...that it is not behind a firewall, etc....but will not do anything...????

I have the same problem but, not everyday and everytime!

I think that is a problem with Network "Gnutella"

to you at me : I notify (it's only when I download *.torrent by Limewire)

if I use Limewire only on Gnutella : I don't have this kind of ":Smilywais:Problem"

O.k...so the only thing i know how to do (what ALWAYS worked for me before the computer crashed was to go to Lime Wire » Official Website & Free Download, BitTorrent « (we had loaded it and everything) and then I'd put in the song, artist, whatever and it would work. Is there another way??
