unable to download Hi, When I mark items to be downloaded, most of them will be downloaded indeed. Sometimes there will be messages like " Hosts occupied" etc., which can be dealt with or dissapear automatically. But sometimes I got the message attached to a file that already may have been downloaded for over 90%: "Unable to download". OK. So what. What does it mean, and more important, what can I do with/about it. Skip the file and try all over again? Thanks for help. |
That usually means that the person you have been downloading from has turned their computer off for the night or something like that. Also it's not unknown for people to play little mind games. They deliberatley wait till you've got something like 90-95% of their file then they deliberately cut you off. This is just one of the things that you have to put up with in this free file sharing situation. Fortunately most people are genuine and most of the time you should be able to get as many files as you can handle without too much trouble. If the trouble continues of course come back and post a new message in the forums and maybe a moderator or someone with more experience than me will be able to help you out. Good luck! |
Some of user's have limited time ever think of that. |
Quoting Japie, my experience is not that most of the items will be downloaded but some of them will be downloaded. I do not understand how it is possible that when you select several items mostly none of them will be downloaded. I get the info: Can not download" Who can help me, because I'm using the Pro version not for Not downloading items. |
The dynamic duo of Xcom46 and RobertR score again! Nothing to do with the question but super for the post count. <chuckle> <chuckle> |
