Default Why can't anyone upload files from me?

I have a bunch of mp3, and mpg video files that are hard to find. Mostly old 80's songs and videos. When I look at my library I see that I'm getting hundreds of hits on these files, but my uploads at the bottom left of the screen shows zero uploads? Like no one can connect to me?
Is there something that needs to be configured differently or adjusted?

I have Limewire 4.16.6
Windows Vista Home Basic OS
Hughes Net Pro version (broadband)
Using an HN7000S modem

I have my firewall set to allow Limewire as well as my McAfee AV

I just wanna share man!!!!

Hiya - Welcome !

Basic question... How long have you waited, maximum, from startup to shutdown, for Uploads to happen ?

I share 1,000s and 1,000s of eBooks... Incredibly popular... I normally average a min of 1GB up per day...
and then
there are days when nothing happens... Nada...
Don't worry about it for now unless you have reason to be concerned that you have an inappropriate configuration setting.

As a test, try the old standard trick...
Take any image... Hey, a clean one, OK ?... And rename the image file...

britney amy snoop lolita naked.jpg or whatever...

If you don't have an upload event... with filesharing, I mean !!! ...
Than you may have a problem or two !

-----------------------------------------

Hang on a sec... I just read your post again and noted the zinger at the bottom !

er... Does this mean that you are running the crapgarbage Windoze firewall AND McAfee (with firewall) at the same time ?

Kill the Windows rubbish as you should not be running it with ANYTHING !

Thank you for the tips. I will test it and see what happens. I take it that I should completely do away with the McAfee AV, and the windows installed firewall?
I have been meaning to switch to another AV software anyways. McAfee sucks!

Thanks again!

Just turn of your Windows firewall and use the McAfee one for now. See what happens.

The think is McAfee has a built in firewall and running two at the same time isn't doing any good.
