Download frozen on Progress 99%
 

Hi

I am trying to download from a torrent for a WWE game ( :o not for me for my younger brother Honest ) and it keeps freezing at 99%.

It got to 99% as it would do normally with no issues and then just dropped all my download speed and froze although it still says I am downloading from 2 hosts.

I have tried it several times from different torrents and it’s the same. I can download other games with no issues.:mad2:

I am not an expert
(Definition of a expert - ex = has been - spurt = drip under pressure !!!! :cheesy: )

But I can normally sort issues myself but need some help with this one :bangh:

Torrents are a different kettle of fish. That suggests there is nobody sharing with the file at 100%, else their upload slots or bandwidth are filled.
LW is not the most ideal torrent program however.

To be honest I shut everthing down and re started from yet another torrent this time it worked so I now have a happy little bro.

I know and trust LW from song downloading never had a issue with that but Torrents are new to me.

I am self taught on most stuff mainly picking tips up throuh theforums but get a little lost on the vocab. I usually find "suck it and see" approach the best way. So prob take the long way around due to not knowing any better.

Is LW the reason it seems to take for ever to download films ect.

Can you suggest a better software.

Torrents are best for videos normally. But I use Azureus for that purpose. ;)
There's lots of torrent sites around. Finding them is a problem though. Some are even private. And some don't recognise programs like LW.
