I'm not able to download anything I wanted to, my anti-virus program warned of "potentially unwanted program", it's a adware generic. What's this and will it harm my computer. I tried to look it up in the virus enclyclopedia, but could not find it. Please help!!

I got a nasty virus while downloading a movie. It's so bad I have to bring my computer to a professional to have it removed.
