''Need more sources'' message

Hi buddies! can anyone help me to figure out what the message ''Need more Sources'', ''Awaiting sources'' , ''Waiting for stable connections''mean??? Eventhough the system (ONLY SOMETIMES) manages to pop out the files that i have required of, the downloading process is REALLY very-very-very-very frastrating!!I think that Limewire tests our patience capabilities :wasntme:. I can wait up to one week in order for my song to be 100% downloaded ! :aweof: . Most of my songs totally fail to doanload and they remain in the process of downloading for weeks with the sign ''Need more Sources'' and a 0% progress.

I think that i deserve many congrats for my patience!!!:xirokrotima:

However, if somebody knows a faster way for downloading files via Limeware, you are more than wellcome to help me!!!:welcomeani:

Sincirely yours,

Maria F.:giggle:

Doing search for the item again helps. Can also use the Find more results option by right clicking the search bar. Or if search result is up with the open file icon, cancel the download & reselect from search results. That sometimes springs it back into action. Also try to choose those with at least 3 if not 4 bars under the quality column in search results. :)

Thank you very much Lord of The Rings! I have already done those things and i have seen some improvement. Do you also know what can i do for the message ''Disk Problem'' in the downloading process? :)

Lord of the Rings July 20th, 2008 06:25 PM

Disk problem is an issue generally restricted to Windows users. I suspect it's related to fragmentation of your hard disk drive. However other windows users may have good advice to add here.

There have been some LW bugs that caused this issue, however they seem to be sorted out now.

I have been having the same issue for weeks now, either I get the awaiting sources, need more sources,my internet connection is reasonably stable,so I have ruled that out
well it looks like it is a traffic issue I am only guessing, because I am starting to lose patience it took me/LW three days to download one file ?.........
