What music?

Been trying to find music to download and all I see is music in Spanish.. other foreign songs and artists that i've never heard of before?? Whast have I just signed up for? Doesn't Limewire have Rock n Roll? Artists such as.. ZZ TOP, Led Zeplin, the Stones? If not, i've just been ripped off... so much for their millions of songs...

Limewire states this " With lime, get Over 100 billion songs, movies, games, ringtones and muchmore available for download at absolutely no charge!" So I am wondering why I was charged $49.95, what they call a one time fee for lifetime... Thing is, the songs I did find were not the rock n roll I was expecting and when u did a search for a group.. that group never came up.

I have been finding out that Limewire is one of the worst things u can download for free music anywhere. It gives u viruses, trojans and spayware. I also heard that it is a shared computer thing so if im looking for music downloads i'm actually taking them from another persons computer. NOT what I want to do. I called the number in the email u sent (convo) and it was the wrong website... I had to get the number for the clkbank in Boise Idaho.. of course, it was no refund.. until I threatened to find them and bang their heads a few times across their desk.. My refund will be to my within 3-5 business days. I don't think i'm going to use my ipod nano.. I'm going to give it back to the person who gave it to me as a gift.. I cant afford to pay for the songs to download. Thanks for all ur help!!

Your welcome. Sorry to hear you accidentally bought LW from a scam site. If you don't wish to share files p2p (from one user to another), then buying them is the next best option either online or offline. The problem with viruses etc. is not LimeWire, but what some sponsored groups spam the gnutella network with in an attempt to prevent copyright sharing. There are many gnutella programs, LimeWire is simply one of them so you can't exactly blame your particular thoughts mentioned above on one particular program. p2p which includes torrents is obviously not for you.
