Unavailability of Searched Files Although I have been using LimeWire for a long time now, without, I have to say, any problems, I am at a loss to understand how it is possible for me to make a search for a specific file, and on trying to access a successful result, find that the file is not available, with messages like 'Awaiting Sources' or 'Need More Sources'. If the file is not available, how can it show in the search results? Surely only files currently available should be shown in search results? Forgive my ignorance - I am not a computer expert, and i assume I have either wrong settings, or am doing something wrong Any advice/information gratefully received. Derek Greece |
You might be seeing fake files in your search results (bogus files shared to discourage p2p use). Fake files showing up in search results Use Bitzi to check files before download. Video files are rated more often, music files not so much. How to use Bitzi Also try the tips here. How to find music(tips for movies, too) |
Unavailability Of Searched Files Thanks, Birdy, I will try what you suggested. |
