Default Song Lengths

i was downloading some songs yesterday most of them in the 3-6 minute range. when i was done listening to them i put them onto my computer and the 6 of the songs lengths were now 8-10 minutes long. can anyone tell me why that happened i'm sure the songs i downloaded had the correct lengths when i first downloaded them

Have you tried playing any of these files in your default music player?
Has anything happened to make you suspect your files have been tampered with?

Perhaps they are corrupted files. Have you scanned them with your AV program?
Just to be on the safe side of things I would probably delete them and try downloading them again from a different source.
Especially as it only seems to be happening with this one particular source.
