help (can't cancel a download)

does anyone know a solutions to the problem i posted a week ago (can't cancel a download)? Please I removed the limewire from my computer and installed again Basic version 4.18.3 and the problem continues. I can't cancel any download. Once i hit download no matter how i try to cancel it later on i I get the pop-up (above the time) saying the download is complete. Thanks again. God bless.
