Torrent Help! Unable to change default to open Torrents with to UTorrent
 

I have a big problem with downloading torrents and limewire. limewire is a great thing but not very good with big albums and i want to download torrents on utorrent instead. But you see when i click 'DOWNLOAD TORRENT' it automaticlly goes to a limewire torrent. So the first action i took of this was going to the control panel,appearance/themes,folder options,filetypes, i scroll down to TORRENT FILE (TORR) and change opens with... to utorrent. Then it does not let click 'Apply'. Am i wrong doing that or am i right. Basiclly im asking HOW DO YOU CHANGE A LIMEIWRE TORRENT TO A UTORRENT TORRENT?

You need to make utorrent the default to open torrent files. Right-click the torrent you downloaded from the site, choose open with, select UTorrent, click the option to always open that type of file with UTorrent.

Just to Add to what LOTR's said...While in LW, Go to Tools > Options > BitTorrent > Basic. Uncheck "Start Automatically" then apply and OK. :)
