Why Lost Download List?

What causes incomplete download list (download window) to "sometimes" be lost, some of the time reappears on startup?

Me too

The exact same thing happens to me, I have downloaded max payne to test it out ALMOST completely like 5 times. Same with all files. Suddenly they just go *poof* but the incomplete files are still there. Then sometimes the list comes back for no reason. Don't know why.
