It sounds like a combination of LW settings & lack of codecs. (new computer remember, new settings & history, codecs needed that were on old computer.)

1. License requirement (click on link)

2. CODECs list for Movies/ Alternate players (you will need to use the add/remove control panel to remove all previous codec packs!)
